The New York Times estimated that approximately 3 billion people watched the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton which took place on the 29th April 20011 at Westminster Abbey in London. In a special tribute to the Wedding, we are able to offer you this exciting morning tour of London which includes the majority of the Royal Wedding procession as well as other great London landmarks.
On this tour you will get take up to Kensington Palace, where Diana, the late Princess of Wales once resided. You will then be taken across to the Royal Albert Hall and then to the Albert Memorial before then making the journey across to Trafalgar Square (a great opportunity for photos!), then along Whitehall where you will pass Downing Street where the current Prime Minister lives and then you will be taken around Parliament Square. You will see all the popular sites including Big Ben wand the Houses of Parliament and then just along from that is Westminster Abbey.
After visiting Westminster Abbey you will then take the short journey across to St James Park and onto Buckingham Palace where you will be able to see the popular Changing of the Guard ceremony. If you are unfamiliar with the Changing of the Guard, it takes place with a military band and a part od the Queens Foot Guard march to Buckingham Palace in their familiar bearskins and red tunics, and then they change with the Old Guard.
This is a great way to see the famous royal sights of London in just half a day while seeing the brilliant Changing of the Guard. While this tour doesn’t include Entrances into the places you wil get a chance to see them all from the outside and walk around them and take some super pictures.
